Your First Visit
Please plan to spend around 45 minutes to an hour with us on your first visit. You can fill out your paperwork ahead of time or come around 15 minutes early to get everything completed before your appointment.
Depending on your unique situation, we’ll do some or all of the following:
- Comprehensive Neurological and Orthopedic Evaluation: This extensive exam is to gain a better understanding of what the patient needs to get better and stay healthy.
- Assess your cognitive and memory function: check balance, muscle tone and reflex patterns; orthopedic tests; and utilize various modalities to evaluate the brain, ocular and vestibular systems. With this, we can actually help rehabilitate you through chiropractic care, and various vestibular, and brain-based eye exercises. We’ll give you exercises to work on at home so you can really enhance your healing.
- Spinal Scan: This scan is complimentary and consists of Surface EMG and a Thermal Scan to evaluate paraspinal musculature and the nervous system.
Regular Visits
We try to make our office visits as convenient as possible. If we’re doing complex neurology work, your visit time will vary accordingly. Once you’ve been seeing us for a while, we’ll reevaluate your health needs and suggested care plan to ensure we’re on track for your best healing.
